How to find us

 

LEATHERHEAD is located 20 miles SW of central London and lies in the River Mole valley as it cuts through the chalk of the North Downs.

 

Leatherhead is an historic market town, surrounded by outstanding countryside and is the gateway to the nationally important and beautiful Surrey Hills. Box Hill and the Epsom race course are nearby.

 

By Road

Leatherhead Bowling Club is conveniently reached using the M25 motorway.

 

Heading anticlockwise (East) leave the Motorway at Junction 9. At the roundabout at the top of the slipway take the 3rd exit heading towards Dorking. Take the 2nd exit from the next roundabout. Proceed in the right hand lane up the A243.

 

Heading clockwise (West) leave the Motorway at Junction 9. At the roundabout at the end of the slipway, take the 1st exit towards Dorking. Proceed in the right hand lane up the A243.

 

At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Leatherhead town centre and then the 2nd turning left (Fortyfoot Road). The recreation ground is towards the end of the road on your left.

 

A car park is located at the entrance to the recreation ground in Fortyfoot Road. The club house is reached by walking up the path from the car park.

 

By Rail

Leatherhead can be reached by rail to Leatherhead Station with regular connections to central London (20 minute intervals) or south to Dorking, Horsham, Guildford and further afield. The Club is 1 mile from the station.

 

By Bus

From the Station to Epsom Road (for Fortyfoot Road) is via 408 bus.

Fortyfoot Recreation Ground is at KT22 8RN for sat nav purposes.

There is a small car park at the bottom of the recreation ground which is shared by us and park users.
